Privacy Policy

What this studio collects, who actually holds it, and what it is used for.

This policy explains how Ageing Gracefully handles personal information. It is written to describe what actually happens rather than to cover every eventuality, and it is deliberately short, because this studio collects very little.

This website collects nothing

The site you are reading is a set of static pages. It has no contact form, no accounts, no login, no checkout and no database. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and embeds no third-party widgets — which is also why there is no map embedded on the contact page and no chat bubble in the corner. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page here makes no request to any other company.

The hosting provider that serves these pages keeps standard server logs, as every web host does. Those are operational records held by the host rather than information collected by the studio, and the studio does not read, analyse or link them to anyone.

Booking, membership and payment data is held by GoTeamUp

All class booking, membership and payment happens on GoTeamUp, a separate system on a separate domain. When you buy the intro offer or a membership, or reserve a place in a class, the information you give — name, contact details, payment details, booking and attendance history — is collected and stored by GoTeamUp under its own privacy policy and terms.

The studio has an operator’s view of that data: who is booked into which class, contact details for reaching members, and membership status. Card numbers are handled by GoTeamUp and its payment processor and are never seen by, entered into, or stored on this website.

If you want your GoTeamUp record corrected or deleted, ask the studio and it will be actioned there, subject to any records that have to be kept for accounting purposes.

Health information you tell the studio

To teach safely, the studio needs to know about injuries, diagnosed conditions, surgeries, pregnancy and any restrictions a clinician has given you. You may share that in a movement consultation, in a message, or on a form before your first class.

That information is used for one purpose: adapting what you are asked to do in a session. It is not shared with anyone else, it is not used for marketing, and it is not passed to any clinician without your asking. If you would like a disclosure removed, ask.

Photography and media consent

Photographs and video are sometimes taken at the studio for the website and social media. Nobody is photographed for those purposes without being asked, and declining changes nothing about your class — you can say no at the time, or ask in advance never to be included, and that is recorded and respected.

If an image of you is already published and you want it removed, contact the studio and it will be taken down from anything under the studio’s control. Images already reshared by other accounts cannot be recalled, which is worth knowing before consenting.

Messages you send

Emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages to the studio are received on the relevant platform and kept only as long as they are useful — for answering you and for remembering what you said about your knee. WhatsApp messages sit on WhatsApp’s infrastructure under its own terms; email sits with the studio’s email provider.

What the studio does not do

It does not sell personal information, it does not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and it does not run behavioural advertising. There is no newsletter signup on this site, and you will not be added to a mailing list because you attended a class.

Your rights, and how to use them

You can ask what information the studio holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. In most cases that means a change in GoTeamUp, and the studio will make it. Requests that reach the limits of what it can do — for example records it must retain for tax purposes — will get an explanation rather than silence.

To make any of these requests, or to ask a question about this policy, email info@ageinggracefully.ca or call (647) 708-1029. The studio’s postal address is 10 Henderson Ave, Unit 4, Brampton, ON. Every route is listed on the contact page.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page. There is no separate archive; the page you are reading is the current version. The terms covering classes, bookings and memberships are separate and are on the terms and conditions page.

This policy is under review and has not yet been dated. It describes how the studio and this website operate today and is not legal advice.
