Terms & Conditions
The rules that apply to classes, bookings and memberships at the studio.
These terms apply to everyone attending a class, buying a membership or booking a session with Ageing Gracefully, at 10 Henderson Ave, Unit 4, Brampton, ON, and at the partner venues where some sessions are held.
Booking and payment
Classes, memberships and the two-week intro offer are booked and paid for through GoTeamUp. GoTeamUp’s own terms apply to the transaction and to your account there, alongside these. This website takes no payments and holds no account of any kind.
The published introductory price is $48 for two weeks of unlimited classes. Other membership rates, including the founding member rate, are agreed directly with the studio. Whatever is shown on the relevant GoTeamUp page at the point of purchase — price, billing cycle, term — is what applies to that purchase.
Cancelling a class you have booked
Places are limited, so a place you cannot use is worth releasing early enough for somebody else to take it. Cancel through your GoTeamUp account. The notice required to cancel without forfeiting the class, and what happens if you do not attend, are set out in GoTeamUp at the point of booking — those are the terms that apply, and they should be read there rather than assumed from this page.
Cancelling or pausing a membership
Memberships are managed in GoTeamUp, and changes — cancelling, pausing, switching plan — are made there or by contacting the studio directly. The notice period and any minimum term are those shown on the plan at the point of purchase.
Classes the studio cancels or changes
This is a one-instructor studio, so occasionally a session has to be cancelled or moved. Members are notified through GoTeamUp and, where there is time, directly. The schedule and the venues on the classes page are the current arrangement rather than a permanent guarantee; times and locations can change.
Health, injury disclosure and your responsibility
You are responsible for telling the studio about anything that affects your ability to exercise safely: injuries, diagnosed conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, medication that affects balance or blood pressure, and any restriction a physician or physiotherapist has given you. Tell Aasia before the class rather than during it. Movements can be substituted, but only if she knows.
You are also responsible for updating that information when it changes. Something that was true at your first class and is not true six months later is only useful if you say so.
Exercise carries inherent risk. Participation is at your own risk, and by attending you confirm that you believe yourself fit to take part and that you have disclosed anything relevant. If you are unsure, get medical advice before your first class — and if you are managing a diagnosed condition, are pregnant, or are inside a post-surgical recovery window, that is not optional.
What the instruction here is, and is not
Aasia is a Registered Health and Exercise Practitioner, a Certified Mat Pilates Instructor and a Certified Yoga Teacher. What is offered is exercise instruction. It is not medical care, physiotherapy, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing said in a class, a consultation, a private session or on this website is medical advice or a substitute for it.
Where a clinician has set a limit, the session is built inside it. The studio will not overrule your physician or physiotherapist, and it will say so plainly if it believes you should see one before continuing.
Conduct, and the room
Classes are small-group and mat-based; there is no reformer at this studio. Arrive on time, because the opening of a class is where the warm-up and the safety cues happen. Treat the space, the equipment and the other people in the room with care. The studio may decline or end a participation where someone’s behaviour makes the class unsafe or unpleasant for others.
Some sessions run at partner venues rather than at the studio, and those venues’ own rules apply while you are in them.
Photography and media
Photographs and video are occasionally taken for the website and social media. You will be asked first, and you can decline without it affecting your class. If an image of you has been published and you want it removed, contact the studio and it will be taken down from anything under the studio’s control. How consent and images are handled is set out in the privacy policy.
Personal property
Bring as little as you can. The studio and the partner venues are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings.
This website
The content here — class descriptions, guidance and answers on the FAQ — is general information published in good faith, not advice tailored to you. Schedules, prices and details can change, and the GoTeamUp listing is authoritative where the two differ. Links to GoTeamUp, social platforms and map services lead to services the studio does not control.
